Lori Lopez has been a part of FWISD all of her life. At the age of 5, she started Kindergarten at Greenbriar Elementary School and continued on through to Wedgwood Middle School and then graduating in 1994 from Southwest High School. She was a member of the last class to hold the Rebel name as it changed into Raider (Rebel-Raider).
After graduating Southwest, Lori attended and graduated from Tarrant County Junior College (TCJC, that's what it says on her degree), and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from TCU. After graduation from TCU, she became a counseling clerk for WP McLean Middle School for one year. Lori became a teacher and served AM Pate as a 3rd grade teacher then left to Worth Heights and taught 1st and 4th grades. During her classroom teacher years, she graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master in Education, Curriculum and Instruction: Educational Technology. Lori was promoted into the Division of Technology as an Educational Technology Specialist in 2008 where she currently serves the Early Childhood-8th grade campuses. |
